Built on the Infinity platform with Capture One Inside, the XF IQ4 100MP trichromatic camera system offers workflow flexibility while allowing for endless creative possibilities in impeccable color.

  • Trichromatic sensor

The 101-megapixel trichromatic sensor, designed with a focus on pristine and nuanced color capture, sets the standard for digital color capture. It is able to replicate, closer than ever, the definition of color that the human eye sees.
The trichromatic sensor's set of color filters has been painstakingly designed to capture exactly the right wavelength of light that allows us to get as many shades of color as naturally as possible. This means that the sensor captures completely saturated colors and can capture every shade of blue, green, and red exactly as the scene is revealed. The uncompromised nature of the sensor's color reproduction in the Trichromatic results in a RAW image that closely reflects what the human eye sees directly from the camera and leaves the color possibilities for creative editing open.

HDR
The HDR tool captures the specified frames in parentheses to improve dynamic range. Individual captures are stored as a sequence for simple post-processing in Capture One.

  • Focus stack calculator and tool

By evaluating focusing distances, sensor resolution, and aperture, the Focus Stacking Calculator automatically suggests the number of frames to be captured, while the Focus Stacking Tool automates capture.

  • Exposure Calculator

The Exposure Calculator tool allows you to extrapolate shutter speeds for long exposures from shorter equivalent exposure values. This is a useful aid in shortening test exposures, for example, when calculating exposure adjustments with long exposures at night or when using neutral density (ND) filters.

Histogram
