Compact, large aperture, HSM-equipped standard zoom lens for the latest digital SLR camera models.

This large aperture standard zoom lens covers a focal length from 24mm. Featuring the latest advances in optical design, it offers a compact structure and is ideal for all types of photography. ELD (Extraordinary Low Dispersion) glass, two SLD (Special Low Dispersion) glass elements and three aspherical lenses ensure excellent correction of all types of aberrations. This lens incorporates the HSM (Hypersonic Focusing Motor) system, ensuring high-speed, quiet AF and manual focus capability. This lens has a minimum focusing distance of 38cm and a maximum magnification ratio of 1:5.3. Thanks to its rounded 9-blade diaphragm it creates an attractive blur.
