MANFROTTO's 504X fluid ball joint represents an innovation in video recording technology for professionals and independent content creators. It's a big step forward in the evolution of Bridging-powered ball joints, beyond the successful 504HD it replaces.

Capturing professional images with smooth movements is essential for any independent filmmaker or content creator, and the 504X fluid ball joint is the perfect companion for such creatives at all times. MANFROTTO has combined features of the successful and proven 504HD fluid video ball joint and completely new ones, such as reduced weight and a flat base, to meet the needs of the market. The result is an extremely versatile video ball joint in terms of supports (tripods, sliders, arms, etc.), environmental conditions and working cameras.

The 504X ball joint integrates a Fluid Drag System (FDS) in both panning and tilt movements, marking a new level of performance in the MANFROTTO range, to achieve the smoothest and vibration-free movements to date. It is capable of operating in extreme conditions, between temperatures of -30 to +60°.

Thanks to its 4-step counterbalance system (from 0 to 6.5 kg at a center of gravity of 55 mm), the camera will always be balanced quickly and simply. This allows the ball joint to be used in combination with a wide range of camcorders and digital cameras, along with different accessories. Independent brakes on the TILT and PAN motion axes increase the ability to keep the equipment stable and safely and in the required position.

The 504X can withstand a maximum load of 12 Kg, and its design incorporates a flat base of 75mm that ensures maximum versatility, being able to be used with sliders, arms or other accessories. Weighing just 1.93kg, the 504X is also 700g lighter than the previous version, allowing for easier handling. In addition, it is made of aluminum to achieve maximum robustness and rigidity with minimum weight.

Another feature that improves ease of use is the new side-mount sliding shoe ''Side Lock'', for faster setup. The easy link connectors feature the renowned anti-rotation technology of MANFROTTO and the Arri pin system. On the left side, we find a lid that covers the easy link connector 3/8"or the hitch for the bread bar, to avoid cuts during use.

The single-leg 635 Fast carbon tripod is developed with the aim of facilitating video recording by reducing maintenance and assembly time. The synchronized locking mechanism between the superior and bottom locks allows video creators to control the entire leg with a single lock, starting work right away. It offers maximum versatility and is compatible with a wide variety of ball joints, guaranteeing great rigidity, as well as being very light.

In addition, it is compatible with the central and 2-in-1 floor telescopic extender (sold as an optional accessory), integrating a 3-angle selection mechanism for easy assembly. It is equipped with rubber-covered toe feet for a firm grip and adaptation to all possible scenarios.
