This lens has two FLD glass elements ("F" Low
Dispersion), which offer the same performance as fluorite crystals, and
three SLD (Special Low Dispersion) glass elements that provide a
excellent color aberration correction. The Super Coating
multilayer reduces reflections and stray lights ensuring a high
contrast and high image quality across the zoom range.
