The tetherpro 16' long Black USB 3.0 Active Tether Tools Active Extension Cable is an anchor cable that offers fast and reliable transfer of images and data. The superSpeed USB 3.0 tetherpro Premium extension cable is an active extension device that allows for longer anchoring distances without worrying about signal errors or corrupted data transfers.

Up to four active USB extensions and a 4.57 m (15') passive USB can be daisy-chained for a total of 24.38 m (80'), thus preventing any drop in signals.

With the USB 3.0 tetherpro extension cable, signals and data transfers entering and leaving the cable are buffered to ensure consistent signal quality, meeting the highest USB electrical and synchronization specifications.

The setup is simple, you just need to plug the male end of the active extension cable into your computer and then plug your camera or usb cable from another device into the female end of this extension cable so that the repeater is closer to the device and not the computer. For longer distances, you can simply insert additional active extension increments into the chain to achieve the necessary distance.
