An advanced version of its predecessor, Godox 's DP600III flash head is a full-featured 600W monolight with various professional and practical functions. The head has a color temperature of 5600 K, a full power recycling time of 1.0 seconds and flash durations of 1/800 to a stop action of 1/2000 seconds. Power varies from 1/64 to full power, while the DP600III's 150W modeling can be set to a percentage or proportional to flash power to allow you to accurately preview the final shot.

All these functions can not only be performed manually on the unit, but also wirelessly through the Wireless X System receiver integrated into the head. Remote operation requires the separate purchase of a transmitter. XT2, XPro, XT32, and FT-16 remotes provide wireless power control, modeling light, and ready beep signal. The DP600III has a front-mount accessory BOWENS that makes it compatible not only with Godox light modelers, but with those manufactured by the many manufacturers that use this bracket.
