With 2 aspherical lenses, 2 glass prisms and other high-performance optical elements, the live-action optical zoom viewfinder offers 85% coverage and an apparent horizontal field of view of 20° with incredible optical clarity. The transparent digital panel, integrated in less than 1mm of space in the viewfinder settings, is an ultra-thin LCD panel that not only maintains the brightness of the optical viewfinder, but also offers a clear display of the focus area, shutter speed and other shooting information so you can compose the shot without having to take your eye off the viewfinder.

The new transparent digital panel automatically changes the color of the information in the framing frame depending on the scene and shooting conditions. Shooting information is typically displayed in black, but automatically switches to green via LEDs to improve visibility in especially dark scenes. This function also applies to the display of the focus zone frame when af is fixed on a subject. And when an error occurs, the displayed information changes to red to aid in shooting decisions.

By bringing the camera closer to the eye, the viewfinder can detect it and will automatically switch to viewfinder mode. Then, when you lower the camera, the display changes to the LCD screen on the back of the camera. You can also select to always display the images on the LCD screen or always use the viewfinder according to your preferences.

This dial, located to the left of the viewfinder, allows you to adjust the focus of the viewfinder from -3.5 to +1.5 ^m-1 (dpt) so that the viewing is more comfortable for those wearing glasses.
