The SONY a6700's advanced imaging system is powered by the 26 MP EXMOR R APS-C CMOS sensor and the BIONZ XR processor, a combination introduced in the FX30 digital cinema camera that is capable of generating 10-bit UHD 4K images at up to 120fps or higher. 11fps continuous shooting speed with AF and AE and up to 59 raw stills compressed into bursts. The introduction of the backlit structure in the camera's sensor gives it a higher resolution without sacrificing sensitivity. With an ISO range of 100-32000 that can be expanded to ISO50-102400 when taking pictures, the camera delivers low-light performance with minimal noise and more than 14 stops of dynamic range.

• The 6K sensor's full pixel readout creates high-quality 4K UHD video, with approximately 2.4 times the data needed for 4K video, minimizing moiré and aliasing.
• UHD 4K recording is possible with frame rates up to 120p and Full HD recording up to 240p, using a full 1:1 pixel readout with no binning.
• Record in 10-bit 4:2:2 with advanced XAVC HS and XAVC S-I formats for consistent performance and quality at bitrates up to 600 Mb/s.
• Record for more than two hours in 4K 30p or more than 40 minutes in 4K 60p on a 128GB card.
• Slow & Fast (S&Q) mode allows photographers to capture 4K video in specific steps between 1 and 120 fps and Full HD between 1 and 240 fps, depending on the format. These settings will allow you to slow down the action and speed up a slow-moving scene.
• S-Cinetone can be used to deliver distinctive colors and healthy-looking skin tone reproduction that is based on the technology of Cinema Line professional cameras, such as the VENICE. This color profile offers natural midtones, soft colors, and particularly well-controlled reflections.

AI-powered image stabilization and autofocus
The SONY a6700's AI processing unit brings a number of enhanced capabilities to the camera's image stabilization and autofocus systems, ensuring smooth handling and clarity no matter the shooting conditions. The camera's 759 phase-detection points in stills mode and 495 points in video mode, covering 93% of the image area, are enhanced with AI-powered subject recognition performance and real-time tracking. Other autofocus features include focus bracketing on up to 299 images with sequentially shifted focus points, low-light focusing accuracy up to EV -3.0, focus breath compensation, autofocus assist, focus mapping, and focus peak during autofocus.

In addition, the AI Processing Unit recognises and tracks subjects when a video is recorded, seamlessly automatically cropping to keep the subject prominently in the frame and making otherwise difficult camera work easier. This tracking can be custom-placed within the frame and adjusted for speed and sensitivity, all with the touch of a finger.

The SONY 10-18mm f4 OSS   SONY  Lens  is an ultra-wide-angle E-mount zoom lens compatible with Alpha NEX NEX and Handycam cameras. In the 35mm format, the focal lengths are equivalent to a 15-27mm field of view that is extremely wide-angle with the ideal exaggerated perspectives for expansive landscapes, some interiors and creative portraits and group photos.

With an aperture of f/4.0 across the zoom range, fast shutter speeds and low ISO settings can be used even in low light for crisp and bright images. With the optical SteadyShot image stabilization system it's even easier to shoot sharp photos and videos in low-light conditions, regardless of camera movement. Three aspherical lens elements reduce spherical aberration and distortion and Super Extra Low Dispersion glass reduces chromatic aberration for high-quality images even at maximum aperture.  Fast autofocus is facilitated by the movement of the lens elements at the rear of the lens and the 7-aperture circular aperture of the blade creates smooth bokeh, Circulate in the out-of-focus areas within the frame.
