Hydrostatic ball joints are the most advanced range of the entire range of MANFROTTO ball joints. Designed to meet the demands of professional photographers, they are of a light weight but at the same time prepared to withstand large weights. This model has similar characteristics to our current range of ball joints and have independent panoramic and tilt locking movements, 360° bread and +90° - 90° tilt movement using a friction movement and locking system. Designed to withstand a camera load plus lenses up to 16Kg, this ball joint has a magnesium body, a 2" Teflon ball coated with aluminum, with a surface specially designed to withstand twisting and provide the smoothest movements possible. A calibrated tension control allows you to pre-select the ball tension to suit the weight of your camera and provide you with precise control of the movement of your equipment. The extra large locking lever conceals a "PATENT PENDING" locking mechanism that uses the same criteria of hydraulic laws, especially those referring to hydrostatics, which provides a safe locking mechanism of the camera in position, which certainly gives the impression of being a solid part together with the ball joint, eliminating any vibration effects during the locking phase. Completing this masterpiece, a panoramic graduated base and a 410PL quick release plate as a coupling to the camera.
