ContactThe SEKONIC L-758Cine DigitalMaster is the ultimate light metering tool for filmmakers and videographers as well as photographers. Offering the most extensive range of fps (frames per second), film shutter speed, and shutter angle settings, it meets and exceeds the demands of professional filmmakers and professional photographers.
the key to accurate lighting and perfect exposures is understanding the dynamic range of the camera and calibrating your light meter to work with it. SEKONIC has automated the process to take just minutes. DTS SEKONIC Version 3.0 allows measurement of the dynamic range of your HDSLR or digital video camera and calibration of the SEKONIC L-758Cine DigitalMaster with your specific data. Accurate measurement has reached a new level of excellence.
the automated process requires recording images from one of the exposure profiles SEKONIC or one of the X-Rite ColorChecker® (available as a separate purchase). Once recorded, the TIFF or JPEG image is imported into SEKONIC DTS software for processing and analysis. Photo industry standard measured data can also be entered manually.
After processing, a USB cable is used to transfer the data to the SEKONIC L-758. Up to 3 camera profiles can be stored in the photometer. Any number of profiles can be stored with the software.
once loaded, the SEKONIC L-758Cine takes incident and reflected light readings, which accurately matches the dynamic range of your camera
