Lens NIKON 105mm f2 D DC AF

The NIKON 105mm f2 D DC AF lens is an effective prime telephoto FX format for portraiture and other medium telephoto applications. Its fast f/2 maximum aperture allows sharpening of images in low light conditions and shallow depth of field control. In addition, its unique image control blur ring creates smooth and subtle out-of-focus areas, either in the foreground or background of the image. A rounded diaphragm also adds to the more natural look of out-of-focus areas and a manual aperture control ring is supported.

With a rear focus system, rear elements only the lens' move during focusing for faster AF performance and a mastery ring mode switches between manual and autofocus modes. An integrated sunshade is provided to deflect unwanted light.

Autofocus is not supported by D40, D40x, D60, D3000, D3100, D3200, D3300, D5000, D5100, D5200, D5300 cameras - lens can be used with only manual focus. Be sure to check your camera's lens-compatibility information before selecting a new lens.
