Nikon 1 Mount Adapter

A world of possibilities: Compatible with a wide range of F-mount NIKKOR D-SLR lenses, the FT1 adapter offers all the possibilities to use the lens that best suits the shooting situation.

Easy installation: Regardless of which F-mount NIKKOR lens you use, it is easily and securely installed on the FT1 mount adapter in interchangeable lens cameras NIKON 1.

Viewing angle: The viewing angle of an F-mount lens mounted on the FT1 is equivalent to the 35mm format lens with a focal length of about 2.7x.

Autofocus compatibility: If NIKKOR AF-Slenses are used, the NIKON 1 autofocus system can also be used. The focus mode must be set to AF-S (Single AF) and the AF zone mode is set to Single Point using only the center focus point.

The electronic rangefinder is available in manual focus mode.

Compatible lenses: The FT1 adapter can be used with a wide range of F-mount NIKKOR lenses. If you want to get a complete list of supported goals, go to the bottom of this page.

Motion Snapshots: You can use the unique Motion Snapshot mode of NIKON 1 with NIKKOR AF-S lenses in AF-S (Single AF) focus mode.

Vibration Reduction: The FT1 mount adapter supports targets with Vibration Reduction.

Fixed tripod mount: ensures stability when using large NIKKOR lenses.

Firmware: NIKON 1 V1 and J1 require firmware update to version 1.10 for FT1 mount adapter compatibility. This firmware adds a focus indicator (rangefinder) that can be used with CPU lenses. To check the camera firmware version and download the firmware, go to the"NIKON 1 firmware updates page".
