UV filters block invisible UV radiation that can cause sharpness problems or a dominant blue color; they are especially useful in the mountains or in coastal areas. The photos gain sharpness without altering the color balance, without the need to change the exposure.

These characteristics make the UV filter very suitable for the protection of the front element of the lens against external aggressions such as dust or splashes, so it can be left permanently mounted.

Version with MRC multi-coating that reduces the adhesion of dirt and moisture, increases scratch resistance and also facilitates cleaning.
