The NIKON 70-300mm f4.5-5.6G AF-S VR lens is a high-performance telephoto zoom lens that has been designed to meet the demands of digital users and 35mm SLR format. It offers a 4.3x zoom with a range of 70-300mm (equivalent to 105-450mm DX NIKON D-SLR) and features ED (extra low dispersion) glass elements that ensure superior optical performance.

This lens incorporates the second generation vibration reduction (VR II) NIKON system that allows flexible hand shooting, by stabilizing the image to the extent equivalent to using a shutter speed that is four stops faster compared to a conventional lens. The SWM (Silent Wave Motor) and SI (internal focus) ensure a fast and quiet focus action, and the rounded nine-blade diaphragm makes out of focus elements smoothly blend to produce, harmonious, natural-looking backgrounds.
