Hoya HRT Circular Polarizer

This filter uses a new development of high transparency film rate that passes more visible light through the filter while still filtering the same amount of polarized light. The HOYA HRT circular polarizing filter transmits light up to 25% more through the polarizing film giving the photographer over the light 1/3 more than a circular polarizing standard. This new polarization film is also used in the latest high-definition LCD televisions. UV absorption The filter glass HOYA HRT also has UV absorption properties making HRT a UV/circular polarization filter combination. The most common use of a circular polarizing filter is to darken bright blue skies in outdoor photography, but it can also reduce or eliminate reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as glass and water.
