Tamron's classic 90mm macro lens has been reborn with new vibration compensation (VC)*1 image stabilization features and ultrasonic silent drive motor (USD), plus a new advanced optical design. It uses two very low dispersion (XLD) glass elements made of specialized high-quality glass and a low dispersion (LD) element, which combine to ensure sharp images by thoroughly correcting all aberration. In addition, its new advanced optical design and the use of a rounded diaphragm*2 give this lens the ability to achieve spectacular blur effects. The new eBAND coating (increased bandwidth and angular dependency) provides exceptional anti-reflective properties, effectively reducing unwanted reflections and ghosting for sharp, clear images. The lens also offers improved manageability thanks to the internal focusing system (IF), which focuses without the lens group protruding, and the continuous manual focus that allows the focus to be adjusted precisely. In addition, the lens has a moisture-resistant structure that helps prevent moisture from penetrating the target.
