Store your compact SLR in the ready position, next to it with the black of the Cotton Carrier System strap. Although capable of carrying longer and heavier lenses, the recommended longer lens is a 70-200mm f/2.8 zoom. This belt system is suitable for most varieties of photographic activity, such as hiking, coverage of sporting events, and similar shooting scenarios that could be described as the medium activity light. For ease of use, the belt features a quick-release buckle and fits more waist sizes up to 55". The shoulder strap has a sliding D ring, safety strap, which allows the camera to travel up and down its length. The anchor also serves as a safety backup for the remote possibility of accidental camera and separation mounting. The fastening attaches to the included split ring installed on the camera tab strap with a rotating carabiner. Included with the belt system is built-in accessory bag -in capable of holding a small lens. The camera hub screws at the base of your camera's tripod with the supplied Allen wrench. The back of the cube has a 0.25" threaded opening for mounting a tripod or quick-release plate and without having to remove the shaft from the camera. Rubber bucket washer is compressed during installation to help prevent unwanted loosening. Carrier Cotton recommends the use of a small amount of LocTite as an additional precaution. Always inspect your camera concentrator and receptacle for debris or wear that may adversely affect your performance.
