The Video, MANFROTTO MVH500A is a lightweight ball joint with a wider platform for HDSLR bodies and the sliding shoe moves to balance the latest generation cameras. The 500 ball joint ensures smooth recordings and excellent control with equipment with a maximum weight of 5kg. It is the most compact ball joint in our model range with Bridging Technology.

The MVH500A includes a 60mm semi-sphere video tripod mount, replacing the video ball joint MANFROTTO 701HDV. We can take extremely smooth shots, thanks to their professional fluid cartridges on both the horizontal displacement axis and the tilt axis, ensuring that all camera movements will be smooth, controlled and precise.

Faster, easier and safer to use: The side lock system allows the camera and shoe to be inserted into the ball joint from above, rather than from behind. A second security lock is not necessary. The side locking system also makes it easier to disassemble the ball joint chamber from above.

The 500 ball joint has a predefined counterbalance of 2.4kg, but is capable of supporting equipment with a maximum weight of 5kg. The 500 ball joint has an Easy Link 3/8" connector that allows you to connect an external monitor or other accessories.
