The K-50 incorporates a newer CMOS image sensor with a large image capture area of 23.7mm by 15.7mm, which ensures high-speed data reading. The K-50 also offers the possibility of shooting at high ISO sensitivity up to 51200, allowing the photographer to capture beautiful night images without the help of a tripod.
