Pentax Q7 + 5-15mm + 15-45mm

Developed as the latest model in the PENTAX Q series, the Q7 comes equipped with a larger image sensor than those of the previous Q series models for improved image quality, retaining the super compact and lightweight body that fits comfortably in the palm of the photographer's hand.

Launched as the new flagship of the popular PENTAX Q series, the Q7 PENTAX offers everyone the ability to take casual/instant photos without worries. Thanks to the new 1/1.7" backlit CMOS sensor – the largest in the Q series – the Q7 offers an image quality that has been greatly improved since its predecessor models. It also offers a number of advanced features expected in a high-end model, including high-sensitivity shots with maximum ISO up to 12800 (compared to the Q-10's maximum ISO of 6400), improved vibration reduction performance; reduction of time delay operation at start-up and between exposures; and effortless, easy-to-use operations. In addition, it has a range of creative tools such as Bokeh Control and Smart Effect, which help photographers easily create more personalized images.

This imagem sensor coupled with the new high-speed Q image engine, the Q7 not only features a high sensitivity shot of maximum ISO 12800, but also delivers beautiful images with faithful reproduction of gradation and texture, but also effectively minimizes noise at all ISO sensitivity levels. The accuracy of autofocus during shooting in low-light conditions has also been improved, ensuring accurate focus on the subject, even at the weakest light level of EV 0. Due to the larger sensor, the viewing angle for the Q7 is wider than its sister models, even when mounting the same lens** When mounting the standard 02 zoom lens, for example, the viewing angle is 23mm to 69mm in the 35mm format (compared to 27.5mm to 83mm for the Q-10). Similarly, when using the Q adapter for K bayonet lenses for the Q7, the focal length of the mounted lens extends by about 4.6 times (compared to about 5.5 times for the Q10).

Thanks to the addition of a new Q image engine, which provides a 10% improvement in clock frequency compared to existing motors, and the optimized algorithm, the Q7 offers a shorter start-up delay time of about one second. It also means better response during shooting, such as a decrease in delay time between exposures, making camera operation more comfortable and seamless in all types of shooting. The fast front dial, to which the photographer can assign up to four favorite functions, is now more versatile and functional than ever, with the addition of AF/MF comutation, On/Off assisted focus and ND On/Off filter to the list of assignable functions.
