Built-In Touch Screen Display

A notable addition compared to the HERO3+ silver edition, the Silver Edition Hero4 incorporates a touchscreen on the back of the camera. Multiple Resolutions/Image Rates

The Silver Edition Hero4 offers a number of settings to give you the flexibility to choose what works best for your project. It can record 4K videos at 15 or 12.5 fps, 2.7K video at 30 fps, 1440p video at 48 fps, as well as Full HD (1080p) at 60 fps. You can also do it in slow motion at 100fps in 960p and 120fps in 720p

12-megapixel Photos in up to 30 fps Burst

While in the 12-megapixel photo mode it is possible to record a high-speed burst of up to 30 fps, which helps to capture images in action at the right time

Built in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth

It allows you to pair the Hero4 with a mobile device running App GoPro, or use the Smart Remote, available separately. With the app you can preview, play, and share your favorite photos via email, text, Facebook, Instagram, and more. With the Smart Remote, it is possible to control up to 50 cameras from a distance of up to 600'line of view. The advantage of using Bluetooth instead of Wi-Fi - where it supported - reduces power consumption

SuperView

Three fields of view configuration are offered: Ultra Wide, Medium and Narrow. These will help you choose your preferred perspective, whether it's wide-angle and inclusive, medium for a little attention, or up close.

Take photos at user-defined intervals for use in time-lapse videos. It is also possible to set an exposure time of 10, 15, 20, or 30 seconds per shot - either in time-lapse or single shot - which is ideal for outdoor night work.

Microphone

The camera can record audio using its built-in microphone internally. It is also possible to record from an external source using the included 3.5mm microphone adapter

A single button allows direct access to camera settings. In addition, the menu has been redesigned from HERO3 + Black Edition to make navigation simpler
