it houses a new 50 MP CMOS sensor. The 43.8 x 32.9mm sensor with 8272 x 6200 pixels allows to improve low-light sensitivity with a range of 100 to ISO 6400 In addition, the H5D-50c, compared to the H5D-50, provides longer shutter speeds and a faster capture speed of 1.5 fps. Images are produced in the lossless HASSELBLAD compressed 3FR of RAW files and are approximately 65 MB with 8-bit TIFF being approximately 154MB. HASSELBLAD 's Natural Color Solution (HNCS) creates accurate colors, with natural skin tones and the ability to specifically capture product colors.

The H5D-50c features the True autofocus system and the new Absolute Position Lock (APL), which recognizes camera movements made during recomposition and instantly adjusts precision focus.

With two storage options, either to Compact Flash Cards or directly to your computer via a connection connected to the computer, the H5D-50c allows versatile in studio or location usage options. The camera's functional handling has also been improved, including zoom grip control and menu navigation and seven adjustment profiles can be stored for easy retrieval. The ergonomic body with large grip has also been given a more robust sealing time that allows its use in environments of difficult location.

An updated graphical user interface makes the menu easy navigation and 3.0" TFT LCD display offers clear image reproduction. In addition, the rear LCD screen can now display an exact copy of the grip LCD screen with all the pertinent information about the shooting, the large bright screen. An integrated electronic level is available on both the viewfinder and the LCD screen. The HVD-90X eye-level viewfinder with 3.1x magnification image and diopter adjustment is packaged with the H5D-50c, but other viewfinders are available, including the HVM viewfinder waist height.

The H5D-50c is compatible with HASSELBLAD 's H system lens line including 12 autofocus lenses, all with central shutter. A built-in flash central shutter allows it to be used at all shutter speeds up to 1/800s. take pictures with flash during the easy day. It also improves image quality by generating very low camera vibration.

Included with the camera is Phocus software that allows you to improve the workflow, including camera extension and control of live video image, metadata enhancement, GPS functions and t the automated lens DAC correction system that transmits information about the capture conditions and specific lenses that is used fine autofocus tuning and measurement for the improvement of the images.

New 50 MP CMOS Sensor
The H5D-50c HASSELBLAD includes a 50 MP 43.8 x 32.9mm CMOS sensor that provides the camera with better light sensitivity with a low ISO ranging up to 6400, as well as a capture rate of 1.5 fps.
True Focus and Absolute Position Lock
True Focus and APL provide precision autofocus when composing and recomposing your images.
Digital lens correction
When supported by Phocus software, the H5D-50c camera allows accurate lens and capture conditions information to be fed to the ultra-thin tuning camera processor of the autofocus mechanism, taking into account the design specifications of the lens and the optical specifications of the sensor. Digital Lens Correction (DAC) is an automatic correction of images based on a combination of the different parameters of each lens in each specific capture.
Compatibility of objectives
Lens line HASSELBLAD H system (12 lenses from 24 to 300 mm) with integrated central shutter system is fully compatible with the H5D-50c. And all Carl ZEISS lens V lens core systems are compatible via the optional CF adapter.
Customization
The H5D-50c can save up to seven custom profiles and complete camera settings. Custom profiles can be passed to other H5D cameras.
Display LCD
The H5D-50c has a 3.0" TFT-type LCD display with colored pixels and 460,320 24-bit and larger, easier to read screen style. The LCD screen information camera-based adjustments can be made so that it appears on the rear LCD screen for a clearer view.
Viewer Options
Three viewfinders are available for the H5D-50c:

 

HVD 90x: 90° eye-level viewfinder with diopter adjustment (-5 to +3.5D) and 3.1x image magnification (Included)
HV 90x: 90° eye-level viewfinder with diopter adjustment (-4 to +2.5) and 2.7 x magnification image
HVM: Waist level viewfinder with 3.2x 3.2 image magnification

Tied Operation and Storage Options
Supported by Phocus by HASSELBLAD and pinned plug-in for Adobe Photoshop Lightroom, online work is possible in the field or studio. The H5D-50c offers a choice of storage devices: CF cards or a computer hard drive. With these work and storage options, you are able to select the mode that best suits the nature and location of your work.
Camera Compatibility View
Mechanical shutters controlled by flash synchronization signal. Electronic shutters can be controlled from Phocus. Optional battery adapter for autonomous operation of digital capture unit.
Flash control
Automatic TTL center weighted system. Use the flash built into the viewfinder (Guide No. 12 to ISO 100) or SCA3002 compatible flashes (METZ). The output can be adjusted from -3 to +3 EV. For manual flashes, an integrated measuring system is available. Flash can be used at all shutter speeds.
Digital alcohol level
The H5D-50c camera features a digital alcohol level function that helps the user accurately position the camera vertically or horizontally. The Spirit Level is displayed on the rear LCD screen and in the viewfinder.
Design
More programmable buttons and larger buttons, more accessible and improve workflow performance. Improved time stamping allows you to shoot in the field with fewer worries for your camera.
Software Phocus
The HD5-50c comes with HASSELBLAD's proprietary image processing software. Phocus includes sophisticated lens corrections for H and V System Lenses (DACs), HASSELBLAD Natural Color Solution (HNCS), and advanced tethered camera controls.
