Hasselblad H5D 200c MS + HVD 90x Viewfinder

The H5D-200c Multi-Shot H5D-200c medium format digital SLR body camera from HASSELBLAD houses a 200MP CMOS sensor and enables single-shot and advanced 4-shot or 6-shot multi-shot capture for enhanced colors, moiré reduction, and higher resolution. The 43.8 x 32.9mm sensor with 8272 x 6200 pixels allows for low light sensitivity with an ISO range of 100 to 6400. In addition, the H5D-200c Multi-Shot offers shutter speeds up to 12 minutes and a fast capture speed of 1.5 fps. Single-shot images are produced in the lossless compressed RAW file format of HASSELBLAD 3FR and are approximately 75 MB, with 8-bit TIFF processed images are approximately 150 MB. 4-shot Multi-shot RAW images are 250 MB on average and TIFF are 500 MB, while the 6-shot RAW images are 400 MB, and their 8-bit TIFF files are 600 MB.

The H5D-200c MS (Multi-Shot) differs from the standard H5D-50c by its multi-shot capability. In single-shot mode, the "MS" offers the same medium format capture as the 50c, but in Multi-Shot mode a symmetrical multi-shot frame uses piezo actuators to move the camera's sensor in one pixel and one-half pixel increments. In 4-shot mode, 1-pixel increment movements record red, green, blue and green color information from each pixel and combine them into a single image that is free of interpolation and thus results in more accurate colors, reduced artifacts such as moiré, and elevated details. In 6-shot mode, the same 4-shot pattern is followed by 2 additional captures in half-pixel increments of extended resolution.

The H5D-200c MS features the True Auto Focus system and the new Absolute Position Lock (APL), which recognizes camera movements made during recomposition and instantly adjusts the precision focus. Natural Color Solution from HASSELBLAD (HNCS) creates accurate colors, with natural skin tones and the ability to capture product-specific colors.

With two storage options, either to Compact Flash cards or directly to your computer via a computer-attached connection, the H5D-200c MS allows for versatile in-studio or on-location use options. The camera's functional operation has also been improved, including zoom grip control and menu navigation, and seven setting profiles can be stored for easy recall. The ergonomic body with large grip has also been given a more robust sealing time allowing use in difficult location environments

An updated graphical user interface makes menu navigation easy and the 3.0" TFT LCD screen offers clear image reproduction. In addition, the rear LCD can now display an exact copy of the grip LCD with all pertinent information on the shooting, the large, bright display. An integrated electronic level is available both in the viewfinder and on the LCD. The eye-level viewfinder-HVD 90x with 3.1x image magnification and diopter adjustment is packaged with the H5D-200c MS, but other viewfinders are available, including the HVM waist-level viewfinder.

The H5D-200c MS is compatible with the H system lens line of HASSELBLAD, including 12 autofocus lenses, all with central shutter. A built-in central shutter flash allows it to be used at all shutter speeds up to 1/800 sec, making daytime flash photography easy. It also improves image quality by generating very low camera shake.

Included with the camera is Phocus software that allows you to improve workflow, including camera extension and live video image control, metadata enhancement, GPS functions and t he automated lens DAC correction system that transmits information about capture conditions and the specific lenses being used to fine tune autofocus tuning and metering for improved image results.
