As a result of the most advanced technology, we present you the STEADYCAM G3 grip with 2-axis electronic gimbal manufactured by Feiyu-Tech, for GoPro cameras of the HERO 3, 3+ and 4 series. The grip features a 2-axis electronic gimbal that stabilizes the camera movement allowing the recording of sharp and stable images.

what is it used for?

The G3 grip is used in combination with a GoPro HERO 3, HERO 3+ or HERO 4 series camera. It allows you to carry the camera in your hand, stabilizing the images so that they are stable and sharp.

Getting started

First charge the 3 included Li-Ion batteries using the included charger. Once you have charged all 3 batteries, insert them into the grip by unscrewing the rear cover with the power switch. Then easily mount the camera on the grip and secure it using the two knurled screws provided. To activate the grip, press the rear switch and wait 15 seconds for the firmware to initialize.

how do I use it?

Adjust the camera angle by operating the "Up" and "Down" buttons and direct the camera to the desired location. The vibrations and rotations that occur will be compensated by the gimbal so that the image is not affected. For example, if you point the camera towards the horizon, the camera will continue to look towards the horizon regardless of the vertical tilt and rotation of the grip.

how does it work?

Inside the gimbal there are gyroscopes and accelerometers that determine the movement of the handgrip and allow to generate a counter movement that counteracts vibrations, vertical inclinations and rotations that affect the orientation of the camera.
