ContactLens SIGMA 18-300mm f3.5-6.3 Contemporary DC OS HSM
The SIGMA 18-300mm f3.5-6.3 Contemporary DC OS HSM Lens is an all-in-one zoom for APS-C sensor format cameras.
It offers users a very versatile focal length equivalent to a focal length of 28.8-480mm.
This version also offers optical image stabilization to reduce the effects of camera shake at longer focal lengths and slower shutter speeds.
The SIGMA 18-300mm f3.5-6.3 Contemporary DC OS HSM Lens also has a maximum aperture range of f 3.5-6.3 and benefits from the inclusion of one SLD and four FLD elements. In addition, a multi-layer Super coating on the elements results in fewer reflections and improved contrast.
Utilizing a hypersonic motor for autofocus ensures fast, quiet, and accurate focusing, all the way to the lens' "minimum focusing distance of only 15". A sunshade is included with the lens and is compatible with the USB SIGMA for installing firmware updates and adjusting the focus.
- Construction of the objective with 17 elements in 13 groups
- Super Multilayer reduces reflections and ghosting of higher contrast images
- Low dispersion "F", or FLD, the glass is designed with flourite-like performance elements with a low refractive index and low dispersion to minimize chromatic aberration as well as the clearest and sharpest images.
- Special Low Dispersion, or SLD, glass elements help provide greater clarity and contrast of an image
- Maximum magnification ratio of 1:3 or 1:2 with optional AML72-01 foreground lens
- It has a filter thread of 72mm in front
- Eligible for Mount SIGMA Conversion Service
