The NIKON 18-35mm f3.5-4.5G-ED Lens is a wide-angle zoom lens that is compatible with both FX and enterprise DX image sensors. This lens features a compact and lightweight design making it a highly portable lens that is ideal for traveling.

The lens construction integrates three aspherical elements to provide a reduction of chromatic aberrations throughout the zoom range. Also helping in reducing chromatic aberration is the inclusion of two ED (extra low dispersion) elements that also provide an increase in image sharpness, clarity and color fidelity. Super multilayer of NIKON 'Integrated Coating' is applied to lens elements to improve light transmission and reduce ghosting and glare. A SWM (Silent Wave Motor) autofocus mechanism offers quiet, precise auto focus that HD video recording brought, as well as photograph fast-paced subject matter. In addition to fast autofocus performance, manual control (M/A) is also available for the instant of switching to manual focus for fine focus adjustment or for more creative focus placement. Its minimum focusing distance is 11" and it provides a 77mm filter thread in front.
