TOKINA AT-X 70-200mm f/4 PRO FX VCM-S lens is a telephoto zoom lens designed for both FX and DX sensors and with a constant f/4 aperture maximum. Three Super-low dispersion elements are incorporated into the optical design, which help reduce chromatic aberrations throughout the zoom range while contributing to sharper images with maintained clarity. Multi-layer coatings have also been applied to the surface of the lenses to suppress reflection in the lens and ghosting for contrast-rich neutral full-color photographs. A VCM (Vibration Correction Module) Image Stabilization System has been incorporated into the lens' design to minimize the occurrence of camera motion for up to three stops to benefit working in difficult lighting conditions and with long focal length positions. In addition, a ring-type ultrasonic AF motor is also used to deliver fast, accurate and quiet focusing performance that also allows for manual fine tuning of the focus position. An internal focusing mechanism is also used to maintain the overall length of the lens during use.
