This 290 aluminum kit includes a 293 aluminum tripod and a compact 3 way ball joint. The legs of the 293 tripod have a construction in 4 sections that helps minimize the length of the folded tripod to make it more compact, which makes it ideal for traveling photographers.

It has been built with aluminum tubes and a structure superior also in aluminum to achieve great rigidity, durability and performance. All tubes have a three-sided design for greater torsional resistance, while the locking levers of the leg sections, adjustable tension and also in aluminum can be adjusted to counteract any effect of use, keeping the tripod fully functional throughout its entire service life. Adjusting the angle of the legs in two positions makes it possible to shoot from a low angle, while its central column adds flexibility and extends the maximum and minimum height range. A rubber collar against impacts on the superior part of the central column protects the camera if the extended spine will be left unlocked and accidentally fall.

A specially designed 3 way photo ball joint is included for the most compact size and ease of transport, as well as precise framing and solid support for medium photographic equipment. The highlight of this ball joint is its exclusive mechanism of folding the levers when we do not use the ball joint. With the levers folded and in parallel, the dimensions of the ball joint are drastically reduced, so the space is less when carrying it with us, and it becomes easier to transport, whether it is mounted on the tripod or separately.

The ball joint is made of Adapto, a particularly lightweight polymer that reduces weight, while offering high mechanical strength for more stable support. The ball joint has three bubble levels, one for each axis of movement, which makes it much easier to get perfectly framed and balanced images in the camera, thus saving time in post-production.

The ball joint included in this kit is interchangeable: other ball joints can be mounted on the superior disc of the tripod with a 3/8" universal thread.
