The MH-C9000 WizardOne 4 AA/ AAA NiMH/ NiCd Charger-Analyzer Powerex Batteries charges 1-4 AA or AAA NiMH or NiCd batteries through 4 independent slots. It supports batteries with capacities of 100-20,000mAh. The, the backlit LCD display of capacity, voltage, large and current elapsed time appears. The charger provides 29 selectable charge and discharge rates, including 19 charging currents of 0.2-2.0A (200-2000mA) and 10 discharge currents of 0.1-1.0A (100-1000mA) in 0.1A increments.

The MH-C9000 has 5 operating modes: Charging, Updating and Analyzing, Theft, Unloading and Cycling. The charging mode recharges your batteries at the selected rate, and is suitable for frequently used batteries. Analyze refresh and charge the batteries, rest for an hour, pour them, lean again, and then recharge the batteries at selectable charge and discharge rates. This mode is very suitable for batteries stored for more than 2 weeks but less than 3 months, or for those that demonstrate poor performance.

Break-In mode, also known as IEC capacity measurement and "Battery Formation", batteries are charged and discharged at a fraction of their capacities. They are charged at 0.1ºC for 16 hours, rest for an hour, discharge them at 0.2C, and then recharge once again at 0.1ºC for 16 hours, where C is the capacity of the battery. The best is used for new batteries or those stored for more than 3 months, and the battery is chemically reactivated after deactivation that occurs with long-term storage. the discharge mode, simply discharges the batteries to the chosen type, and is useful for the analysis of the amount of charge stored in the battery. Ciclo performs a charge-discharge cycle of up to 12 times, with discharge capacity stored in memory for display in the system, and then recharges the batteries following the final cycle.

The charger also performs battery matching, allowing group batteries with similar actual capacity, - within about +/- 5% of the rated capacity - on the device you want to power. When batteries are used together in a device, performance is limited to the worst. However, by using the update and analyzing the mode on this charger, you can match the batteries with the same performance and then group them together, knowing that the performance potential must be taken into account in the device you use.

The MH-C9000 charger uses independent Delta V negative charge control and has the temperature and time counter to remove excess or default charging. It comes with a 100-240V power adapter, and also supports a 12V input. When used with the optional lighter adapter (not included), the charger works in your car.
