A large 1" 20.1MP pairs of high sensitivity MOS sensors with a Venus Engine image processor for rich image quality with reduced noise and high sensitivity at an enlarged ISO 25600. A 10x LEICA DC Vario-ELMARIT long-range zoom offers an equivalent focal length of 25-250mm along with a maximum aperture range of f/2.8 to 5.9. The lens construction incorporates five aspherical double-sided elements to minimize spherical aberrations and distortions throughout the zoom range for greater image clarity and sharpness. Benefiting from the lens's reach is a powerful 5-axis OIS hybrid system that compensates for a variety of camera movements for sharper hand-taken images in difficult lighting conditions. This image stabilization system also allows for a single-level shooting function that automatically detects the horizontal line of the recording image and keeps it level during shooting, regardless of camera tilt, helping to achieve greater shooting stability.

4K Video & Photo Modes

The combination of the sensor and processor also allows 4K video recording in both 24p 30p frame rates and in the MP4 format at 100 Mbps. 1080p Full HD and 720p high definition recording is also possible, as well as high-speed Full HD recording with 120fps slow-motion playback. In addition to video, 4K capabilities also allow the recording of 8-megapixel still images at 30 frames per second in a trio of ways:

• 4K burst: As with video recording, this will allow you to continuously record 8 megapixel images at 30 fps for up to 15 minutes, making it ideal for cases where a fast pace is needed in order to capture the best moment.
• 4K Pre-Burst: This mode is ideal for times when you are unsure of the critical moment you press the shutter button and the 8 megapixel images will be recorded at 30 fps a single second before and one second after pressing the shutter button in order to give you 60 frames to choose from.
• 4K Burst (S/S): This mode more closely follows the process of recording 4K video, and allows you to play the video, pause at the chosen time, and use the shutter button to mark a chosen frame of the video and save it as a single 8MP frame.

Focus Message and Af Speed Light

Another attribute of 4K capabilities is a unique focus method called Focus Message. Working in conjunction with the 49-zone contrast system for focus detection, called Af Light Speed and Intelligent Depth Of Blur Technology (DFD), Correos Focus records images as a 4K MP4 file at 30fps and shifts the specific focus point along the burst of shots in order to offer a range of distinct focus ranges to choose from. During playback, through the camera's touchscreen, you can then take advantage of the specific region of the image you want to be in focus and an 8-megapixel JPEG file will be created. Multiple single files with different focus points can be created from the original burst, and focused assist functions can also be used to gain even more precise control over the specific focus region. DFD technology also provides quick focus on performance when working in low-light conditions through the AF starlight function, which is tuned specifically for the acquisition of precise focus during night recording.

Body design and built in Wi-Fi
