The GITZO Systematic GT2542LS tripod is suitable for DSLRs equipped with lenses up to 300 mm and is capable of maintaining a maximum load of 25,000 grams.

The GT2542LS is capable of crouching at a minimum height of 9.5 cm, extends to a height of 150 cm and closes up to a length of only 60.1cm portable

G-Lock
The G-Lock locking mechanism has been completely redesigned in order to achieve a 20% increase in stiffness, faster and stronger operation, safer locking. The special design of G-Lock also provides a "gravity lock" effect, the greater the load applied vertically to the leg, the stronger the lock.

G-Lock Hook
This built-in accessory allows you to hang a stabilization weight (for example, a full camera bag or a sand/water bag) from the bottom of the central column of the tripod. Useful with heavy/long lenses, on uneven terrain or in windy conditions.

Finish the leg
All Parasols in Series 1 and superior are provided with removable rubber legs. This feature allows you to easily change used out rubber legs or to fit other accessories, such as spiked feet or snowshoes/sand (4 tripod sections in the Series 1 are excluded because the last section of the leg is too narrow to fit these ends.

ALR - anti-rotation leg
We have introduced a new anti-rotation leg system, which means that the tripod can be opened in less than 15 seconds. Simply loosen all the torsion closures on each leg at the same time, then pull the leg down and tighten the locks individually.
