The ultra-wide lens of NIKON 14mm f2.8 D ED AF is high-performance, ultra-wide-angle lens effective for interiors, dramatic cityscapes or compelling photojournalism images even in low-light conditions. With its 114th image angle and fast f/2.8 aperture, this lens offers a dramatic viewing angle in demanding situations. In DX format cameras your viewing angle is 90º, which corresponds to a focal length equivalence of 21 mm in 35 mm format. extra low dispersion (ED) glass elements and two aspherical lenses guarantee a superior image quality and a compact design.

For more accurate exposure control, the "D" lens object distance information is transmitted from the lens to the camera, for a multi-sensor 3D and 3D matrix measurement of fill-balanced flash with appropriate NIKON cameras and flashes. An integrated aperture control ring built into the lens hood are offered.

Autofocus is not supported by D40, D40x, D60, D3000, D3100, D3200, D3300, D5000, D5100, D5200, D5300 cameras - lens can be used with only manual focus. Be sure to check your camera's lens-compatibility information before selecting a new lens.
