Thanks to the first full-frame backlit CMOS image sensor with 35 mm and 42.4 megapixels, the α7R II SONY takes image resolution, sensitivity (up to ISO 102400 and response speed to another level. The fast hybrid autofocus system features extensive phase-detection AF coverage in a wide area plane that keeps the subject in precise focus over the entire image area, while its 5-axis image stabilization reduces the blur that often appears when not using a tripod. The high resolution is further increased with the recording of 4K videos with full pixel reading without grouping.
