Not to be outdone by its G2270M and G2271M counterparts, GITZO's G2272M 3-way Head uses a quick release system that even if the equipment isn't well fitted under lock, will prevent it from falling off your head. Removing the camera and lens is simple and fast. Just press the unlock button and slide the board out.

The G2272M is part of three new Rationelle low-profile heads that are now more efficient and silk-smooth, due to an advanced integrated fluid system, making it not only ideal for photographic laboratories use, but also bird watching and mini DV cameras.

Normally, when shooting in portrait mode with a low-profile head, up and down tilt is lost. With the G2272M's square keyless QR plate, the camera can be placed on the adapter sideways so that when placed in vertical mode up and down tilt it is available.

In addition, by keeping either side of the mounting plate parallel to the back or in front of the camera you will ensure perfect alignment without having to worry about how the board fits into the adapter.

Made of high-quality, lightweight magnesium, the G2272M is designed to carry a maximum capacity of up to 12 pounds. The G2272M also comes with multiple bubble levels to ensure the head is perfectly level, while the ergonomically designed swivel and tilt handles feature easy-to-use triangular shape rubber coating. For convenience, tilt handles can be placed on either the right side of the head or the left.
