The key innovations of GITZO's GH1720QR birding head are the new fluid cartridge bird watching, the unique locking system and the high-precision internal mechanism.
Turning and tilting fluid cartridges are completely new and offer a completely opposite behavior to traditional video cartridges. These innovative cartridges ensure ultra-smooth and controlled movement at very low speed (exactly what birders are looking for), while at high speed movements become almost completely free, and this is very useful when rapid equipment repositioning is required.
