Having a smaller sensor and being more compact, the Hero 5 Session takes images with a resolution of 10 MP. Unlike the Hero 5 Black, this one has no screen, no GPS and does not give the possibility to save the images in RAW format or in WDR mode.

However, this version features a simpler menu (just like the Hero 5 Black), a single button for camera control, submersible design, voice control, and stereo microphone. Now, all Hero 5 versions also feature 'professional quality' in image stabilization, something the company hadn't offered until now.

This small LCD tells us the mode we have preconfigured (video, photo or sequences), the space available on the card (which will vary depending on what we configure), the resolution, the frames or frames per second (fps), the field of view, if it is available to connect wirelessly and the battery without percentage, which is missing.
