While inside the Switch 8, its gear is organized and protected by foam dividers that can be repositioned within a soft, padded, brushed interior of the knitting and nylon ripstop. Retractable side fins, plus a water-repellent coated 420 denier nylon construction, help keep the elements out and a WeatherWrap cover is included for maximum coverage. If the bag is placed on a damp or dirty surface without its wrapping, an easy-to-clean, water- and abrasion-resistant base panel protects the Switch 8 and its contents.

Directly below the front flap, a zippered front pocket contains two neoprene accessory pockets, an identification window, as well as a metal peg clip and D-ring to securely connect memory card wallets and other attachments. Behind the front zippered pocket is a full-length zippered pocket that can be used to hold objects such as a camera flash, battery charger, or cell phone. MOLLE-compatible side loops allow accessory bags to be attached to each side of the bag, and MOLLE loops at the bottom allow you to carry the tripod while maintaining the Switch 8's compact form factor.
