The new HVL-F45RM SONY flash enhances the capability of the radio-controlled lighting system, offering a compact professional trigger solution when combined with the FA-WRC1M wireless remote controller and FA-WRR1 receiver.

The new flash has been designed to complement compact SONY E-mount interchangeable lens cameras (including full-frame α7 models). Provides expansive GN45 illumination[iv]. This ensures sufficient illumination even when shooting with bounce lighting or high-speed synchronization flash (HSS). The radio capabilities of the HVL-F45RM allow it to be used as a transmitter or receiver up to 30m, making it an ideal tool for creative lighting with multiple flashes. In addition, unlike optical flash systems, radio-control flashes do not require a direct line of sight between components to function properly, while minimizing any impact that direct sunlight has on signal transmission and control.

The HVL-F45RM flash has a battery with an impressive capacity of up to 210 bursts and can be tilted up to 150º vertically, 360º horizontally and up to 8º down for greater versatility. Usability has been maximized with a new large, bright and highly visible LCD screen, with an LED light design, resistant to dust and moisture iii and a revamped menu system similar to that of the new cameras.
