This standard high-speed zoom lens provides high performance and great image quality, offers a range of 24mm to 70mm and incorporates the exclusive VC (vibration compensation) system of TAMRON*1 and a USD motor (ultrasonic silent drive) for fast and quiet autofocus. Being an SP (Super Performance) series lens, the optical design prioritizes image quality through the abundant use of special optics, which includes three LD (low dispersion) lenses and two XR (extra refractive index) lenses. As a result, you get best-in-class image quality that reduces the various types of distortion. In addition, the high speed of F/2.8 and the circular diaphragm structure*2 allow beautiful blur effects to be obtained with this lens, as well as very detailed images thanks to its high resolution. For the first time in a TAMRON product, a simple drip-proof structure is also included.
