Hoya Fusion Circular Polarizer Antistatic

Hoya engineers have developed a new ANTISTATIC coating that acts as a force field around the filter to repel dust. Perfect for environments where dust is common, these filters require less frequent cleaning and maintenance than traditional filters. In addition, the antistatic and hardened superior layer is water repellent, resistant to stains and scratches, and easily cleans when stains or fingerprints are introduced to the surface.

The new FUSION professional antistatic filters are manufactured in Japan using hand-selected silicates that are carefully melted and mixed to produce high-performance optical glass. HOYA used very carefully and accurately to apply the improved 9-layer Super Multi-coating formula that reduces or eliminates reflections on the glass surface and produces very high light transmission rates. This means that the filter has virtually no effect on the color balance, contrast, or clarity of the final image beyond its polarization effects.

The filters feature a light weight, two-piece, very low profile aluminum frame to house the glass. The low-profile frame eliminates vignetting when used in wide-angle lenses.
