Camera Cage 15mm Baseplate is a height-adjustable motherboard accessory that is used to set 15mm rods (sold separately, as MANFROTTO MVA520W-1) at the correct distance from the center of the camera lens. Used with rods, it allows mounting accessories such as follow focus (MVA511FF), lens support (MVA514W), matte box, servo motors and more. It fits Camera Cage Small (MVCCS) and Medium (MVCCM). The motherboard is also compatible with the Large model (MVCCL), which provides a socket clamp and back bars.
