Phase One has designed the XF camera system to offer its fastest, most robust and expandable camera system for professional photographers. Important advances include:

New Autofocus Platform: The XF camera system marks an important milestone for Phase One: a new patent-pending, fully controlled internal autofocus system. The Honeybee autofocus platform (HAP-1). New Flexible OneTouch User Interface (UI): Based on clean Scandinavian design principles, the OneTouch UI is a seamless and highly customizable combination of dials, keys, and touchscreens that allows photographers to customize camera controls for their specific shooting requirements, via camera or software. Using a new Phase One camera operating system, OneTouch UI is user-upgradeable and will be configured according to customer needs and feedback. New IQ3 Digital Backs: The IQ3 80MP full-frame digital backrest is the first of its kind to offer exposures up to 60 minutes using a new image sensor exclusive to Phase One. Joins the new IQ3 60MP and IQ3 50MP digital backs; all three feature a high-bandwidth interface that enables advanced tools in the new OneTouch user interface, including power-sharing capabilities. New lenses ready for 100MP and more: Two new lenses Phase One Schneider Kreuznach Leaf Shutter, 120mm and 35mm, are designed to solve beyond 100MP. They fall into Phase One's range of 20 high-resolution medium format optics, including a Leaf Shutter range, a Focal Plane range, special specialties and zoom, and support for 60 legacy lenses. New Capture One 8.3: Offers the best RAW image quality on the market. Over 25 advanced photographic tools and industry-leading professional workflow. The new Capture One PRO is designed specifically for XF and adds the ability to customize the XF camera's system controls and delivers up to 30 percent faster shooting. New modular viewfinders including a new 90° prism viewfinder and a new waist finder. The full-frame solid glass prism viewfinder is the brightest in its class, and comes standard on all XF cameras. The new waist level viewfinder (an industry classic) can measure exposure thanks to the ability of the HAP-1 autofocus platform to perform light measurements.

Using Capture Pilot on your iPad or iPhone, you can wirelessly connect to an IQ3 digital backup and improve your capture process and productivity. IQ3 digital backrests combine functional design with robust and durable build quality. The backrests are made of 100% aeronautical quality aluminum and all electronic connectors and ports are protected with automatic retractable hatches or rubber covers to ensure they work continuously even in the most difficult recording environments.
