hollyland Technology is pleased to announce the launch of the Pyro Series, a new wireless video transmission system. The Pyro range, consisting of Pyro H, Pyro S and Pyro 7, offers innovative mobile wireless image transmission and monitoring solutions to small and medium-sized television and commercial film crews.

With a transmitter that supports up to four receivers, the lightweight Pyro system makes transmission and monitoring more flexible, stable, and professional. The 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Auto Dual-band frequency Hopping (ADH) wireless technology, developed by hollyland, provides greater anti-interference capability, while reducing lag and improving range. This innovative new technology is the crucial advantage that enables the Pyro S to provide excellent wireless video quality to four independent monitors at the long ranges needed for the most demanding professional filmmakers and video creators.

Up to 400M range with smoothness and crystal clear quality

hollyland's ADH wireless technology ensures that the Pyro H and Pyro S provide stable wireless video at 4k/30fps, and a range of up to 400M when broadcast mode is disabled, to deliver superior clarity, detail and realism, making the Pyro ideal for professional applications. This technology allows for better performance and efficiency in signal transmission, ensuring real-time monitoring of the footage with minimal latency for the entire team (e.g. director, producer, lighting staff and audio staff) involved in the monitoring.

User-configurable, to suit any situation

Users can optimize video monitoring performance based on their needs. The simple mode selection interface allows users to enjoy smooth frame rate and low latency, or higher video clarity. Users can select either Smooth mode or HD mode, depending on the recording scenario they are in. In Smooth mode, Pyro will keep video streaming smooth, with the bitrate dynamically adjusted to achieve latency of just 50ms for long-distance streaming. HD mode offers superior image quality, with a stable bitrate of 8-12 Mbps even at a distance of 400 m, ensuring sharp images. (The transmission range is direct line of sight, based on interference-free laboratory measurements.)

Flexible connections: HDMI, SDI, Loopout

The Pyro Series offers the perfect solution for professional shoots and small commercial projects, and includes USB Video Class (UVC) and Real-Time Messaging Protocol (RTMP) for easy device connectivity and compatibility, as well as real-time streaming (streaming).

Pyro H offers HDMI and Loopout input/output, allowing users to connect a camera and transmitter, and send signals to receivers while monitoring the view from the Loopout port. The Pyro S features HDMI and SDI input/output, suitable for professional shoots and small commercial projects. The Pyro 7 supports HDMI and SDI input/output and Loopout, allowing users to choose the best connection based on their shooting needs and equipment.

Easy to use, rugged and portable

The lightweight aerospace-grade magnesium and aluminum alloy housing ensures easy portability and physical robustness for demanding and fast-moving video creators. The Pyro H and Pyro S feature a colour LCD control display on both the transmitter and receiver, which provides easy access to the intuitive user interface and quick selection of settings.
