A very important difference is the angle of correction. Most current stabilized binoculars offer a correction angle of 0.5° to 1°. That is, a correction of 0.8 to 1.7 meters at a distance of 100 meters. Hand tremor, observation on a windy day or shortness of breath after a walk, will easily cause an instability of the image greater than these values. APC' KITE stabilized binoculars feature new technology that allows the instrument to correct image stability by 3°, or 5.3 meters at a distance of 100 meters, or 53 meters at 1000 meters. In other words, 6 times more. This will allow perfectly stable images not only of a trembling hand, but even of a car or boat in a raging sea.

This lightweight and very compact instrument is also packed with smart features. The electronics are powered by two AA batteries, the most common battery size worldwide, and will ensure the instrument runs for 36 hours. But to make sure you don't miss a second of those 36 hours, APC' KITE binoculars are equipped with sensors that will automatically put the electronics into sleep mode when you're not watching. The APC (Angle Power Control) function detects positioning. When the instrument comes upright, hanging from your neck or standing on a surface, you fall asleep. From the second, it goes to a more horizontal position, when you look, the stabilization is activated. No button change, no accidental battery discharge. A timer function ensures that it turns off completely after 90 minutes, no matter the position. And a low battery indicator will tell you in time when new batteries are needed.

The stabilized APC has an ergonomic shape and features a 4cm long focus wheel that can be easily operated with 3 fingers. Although stabilized APC looks different, it's as easy to use as any standard pair of binoculars. The essence of this instrument is, of course, its stabilizing capacity. Optically, it is at the same level of performance as the KITE PETREL, however, under any circumstances of instability, be it from your own hands, heavy breathing, wind conditions, etc., these binoculars will surpass the best binoculars in the world and give you the image and details invisible to any standard binocular. The stabilized binoculars are equipped with the APC system of KITE (angle power control). Without having to change the button, it will put the electronic stabilizer into sleep mode when the instrument is in a resting position (hanging from the neck), and automatically activate the unit when it starts watching again. This results in a huge increase in battery life and comfort of use.

With its 2 AA batteries, the stabilization mechanism can be active for up to 36 hours. APC STABILIZED binoculars can also be used perfectly without activating the stabilization mechanism.

Regardless of its position (rest or active), after 90 minutes the instrument will automatically turn off to save energy.
