The Laowa 15mm f4.5 zero D Shift lens is one of those lenses with which you will capture in a way that you will not be able to with a normal lens. Now with a fourteen-pointed star diaphragm due to its additional blades it allows to capture unique architectural and interior images with its 11-millimeter correction capacity in all directions. Laowa 15mm off-center offers an ultra-sharp 110º viewing angle as it is from the Zero-D range
Choose from CANON EF, RF SONY E, NIKON F, Z, L-Mount or FUJI GFX from the drop-down
Combining an exceptionally wide field of view with the ability to correct for perspective distortion, the Venus Optics CANON Laowa 15mm f/4.5 Zero-D Shift EF mount is an ideal lens for architectural and interior applications. The wide viewing angle of 110° is complemented by an impressive +/- 11mm shift range to compensate for unwanted converging lines and keystone distortion. This shift control is further complemented by a 360° rotation mechanism that applies the movements in various directions to suit both horizontal and vertical orientation shooting. In addition, as part of the Zero-D lens series, this 15mm f/4.5 also reproduces scenes with a high degree of accuracy and very low distortion.
In terms of optics, two aspherical elements and three extra-low dispersion elements are presented, which reduce spherical and chromatic aberrations for high sharpness and clarity. An anti-reflective coating also helps control flare and ghosting to increase contrast and color reproduction. The lens uses a manual focus design to work with subjects at a distance of 7.9" and has a five-blade diaphragm to produce distinct 10-point solar stars.
