A comfortable wide-angle for Micro Four Thirds, the Laowa 17mm f/1.8 MFT is characterized by its especially sleek and lightweight design, making it ideal for use as a walking and travel lens. Despite its compact size, it has a bright design of f/1.8 for working with difficult lighting and the wide-angle field of view equivalent to 34mm for working with subjects ranging from landscapes to portraits. A Super ED element appears in the optical design and helps reduce chromatic aberrations and color stripes for greater clarity and color accuracy. In addition, a layer of frog's eye has also been applied to the front element to protect against water and dust, and the lens' manual focus design allows working with subjects as close as 5.9" away.

  • The wide-angle angle is designed for Micro Four Thirds mirrorless cameras and provides a focal length equivalent to 34 mm.
