Developed for aerial photography applications, the ultralight black version of the Laowa 7.5mm f/2 MFT is a super wide rectilinear lens for Micro Four Thirds cameras. Compared to the standard version of this lens, this reduced weight edition is 20g lighter, which is very suitable for use with drones and gimbal. In addition to its lightweight design, the wide focal length and f/2 maximum aperture are ideal for astrophotography applications and its optical design incorporates two aspherical elements and three extra-low dispersion elements to control distortion and aberrations to improve clarity and sharpness. A frog-eye coating has also been applied to the front element to protect against water and dust, and the lens' manual focus design makes it possible to work with subjects as close as 4.7" away.
