The Lens Samyang 24mm f1.4 ED AS IF UMC , is built with a series of low dispersion ED glass aspheric lenses and low reflection lenses, all to achieve sharp images and few chromatic aberrations highly recommended
The Samyang 24mm f1.4 ED AS IF UMC lens is a very bright lens, an essential lens designed for digital cameras equipped with Full Frame or APS-C sensors. Its optics consist of 13 elements in 12 groups. Four of the lens elements are made of low dispersion (ED) glass, which minimizes the level of chromatic aberration. There are also two aspherical elements that prevent the effects of spherical aberration. Like other Samyang products, this lens has several layers of anti-reflective UMC coating to ensure optimal light transmission. Thanks to its sophisticated optical construction, the lens provides exceptional image quality even at maximum aperture.
The Samyang 24mm f1.4 ED AS IF UMC lens has also been equipped with an electronic circuit that allows the camera to recognize the exposure parameters and make the most of the advantages offered by the i-TTL flash system. Thanks to detailed information related to the range of available apertures, focal length and focus confirmation, shooting with this lens is Samyang easier and more comfortable.
The model offers a wide viewing angle very useful in landscape and architectural photography. When used in a camera with APS-C sensor it can also be used as a standard lens with a universal focal length of 36mm.
