The Samyang 8mm T3.1 V-CSC lens is a mirrorless video lens designed for the APS-C crop sensor. The compact size of the lens increases mobility to photograph images conveniently. A wide angle of 180º maximizes the characteristic of the fisheye lens. It ensures more accurate shooting with T-number representing the actual amount of light transmission. Lens Samyang shows exceptional optical performance especially in light transmission. Optical construction of the Lens Samyang 8mm T3.1 Cinema UMC Fisheye II features 11 lenses in 8 groups - between the lenses, there are 2 glass aspherical lenses (AS) and 3 low dispersion glass (ED) performing high image quality and contrast for the center and corner of the image, even when the aperture opens completely. Distinctive focus ring gear is suitable for focus tracking system, and aperture ring controls decoupled silent opening during shooting for precise operation.Samyang 8mm T3.1 Cinema UMC Fisheye II operates on the manual aperture system with low T-number that allows natural shooting under various light exposure circumstances. There are 6 aperture sheets designed to be almost like a full circle when the opening closes, which expresses STARLIKE rays clearly and beautifully. The lens frame is compact and solid, as it is made of high-strength aluminum alloy. Reliable images can be captured, even under lower environment. In addition, non-detachable petal-shaped lens chapel minimizes reflections and ghosts by housing the lens of unnecessary lights.
