The Samyang 12mm f2.2 V-CSC lens is a wide-angle mirrorless video lens designed for APS-C crop sensors.

T-number representing the actual amount of light transmission is marked on the goal of helping a lot of shooting accurately. Distinctive focus ring gear is suitable for the focus tracking system, and the unattached aperture ring controls silence opening during shooting for exact operation. Samyang 12mm T2.2 Cine NCS CS lens is operated under the manual aperture system with a low T-number, which allows natural shooting under different light exposure circumstances. ? For the first time in the history Samyang Optics, Nano Coating System (NCS) is used to provide the best image quality with low reflection rate.

Objective Samyang shows exceptional optical performance especially in light transmission. Optical Construction of the Lens Samyang 12mm T2.2 Lens Cine NCS CS features 12 lenses in 10 groups - among the lenses, there are 1 hybrid aspherical lens (H-ASP), 1 aspherical lens (AS) glass and 3 low dispersion glass lenses (ED) high quality image capture. H-ASP checks for color aberration for exceptional image quality and contrast throughout the center to the corner of the image when the aperture is fully open. ED effectively reduces color aberration by minimizing unnecessary light scattering. With such an optical construction, 0.2m of the minimum focusing distance is provided.

There are 6 aperture sheets meant to be almost like a full circle when the opening is closed which clearly expresses star rays and very well. The lens frame is compact and solid, as it is made of high-strength aluminum alloy. Trusted images can be captured even under lower ambient. In addition, detachable hood petal-shaped lens minimizes reflections and ghosts that protects them from the lens from unnecessary lights.
